Summary/Abstract: A review on three puppet books. The year 2019 has been a fruitful one for Hungarian-language puppet literature, with the publication of three important works: the researches of Tamás Jászay and István Nánay on the history of two jubilee Hungarian puppet theatres, and a translation of former students at the University of Theatre and Film Arts, Budapest that provides insight on the training and vision of puppet, figure and object theatre in Germany.
