Summary/Abstract: Hardly known in the South-Slavic scholarly milieu and almost unknown outside the Balkan Peninsula, Mićun M. Pavicević and his monumental masterpiece composed of XXXIII books titled Montenegrins through stories and anecdotes is a genuine immersion into the profoundness of Montenegrin folkloric heritage. Through these popular stories and anecdotes, Pavicević had remarkable depicted the Montenegrin mentalities revealing all readers witty sarcasm, wag sense of humor, laconic dialogues that represent the inner core of these folkloric creations.
