Online Education – a Reality of Our Times

Summary/Abstract: The current context generated by the COVID 19 pandemic has determined, as far as education is concerned, a substantial orientation of didactic activities towards online education. On a par with teachers, the students and parents were confronted with the more or less familiar reality of online education. The process of adaptation to this type of education was not deprived of obstacles but was also a source of satisfactions on the professional and personal level. The present study highlights the characteristics of the online education, the need for online education in the COVID 19 pandemic context, as well as the advantages and disadvantages brought about by this type of education.
