Summary/Abstract: The digital evolution calls for a whole new set of skills to be acquired in education both by learners and teachers. This paper puts forward the idea that a personalised education should also be achieved through the use of digital, nomadic pedagogy in order to obtain effective long-term values, especially in the field of foreign language teaching. The visible impact of digital education on young people requires the acknowledgment of the overall use of the “laissez-faire” model in order to acquire the best results. As the use of the computer (CALL) is no longer exclusively sufficient for learning foreign languages for specific purposes, teachers have to recognize that studying foreign languages assisted by the mobile phone (MALL) proves to be a suitable solution. Some practical examples proposed here for learning foreign languages for specific purposes highlight the profitable use of digital literacy grip.
