Summary/Abstract: The article describes a case of online cultural permeability in Romanian virtual communities. We show some possible parallels between the virtual and real behavior of members of a gaming guild, in order to establish that virtual societies must have a status within socio-cultural research, because these are spaces in which the intercultural combat exponentially takes place.
