Summary/Abstract: After presenting the novel A Ballad for Georg Henig (1987) by Bulgarian writer Victor Paskov to the readers, this article discusses the role of music in the text, and its relationship to kindness and faith. Conclusions regarding the protagonist, the child narrator, art and religion are drawn.
