Summary/Abstract: Cyberspace is currently the ideal environment for carrying out actions of subversive, non-kinetic influence, through which a number of political, military, economic and strategic advantages can be obtained without major costs or through which a state can be destabilized, also known as cyber-influence actions. These social engineers or social influencers, in fact applications of socio-human sciences launched with the help of information technologies (applications, computer systems and modern technological infrastructures), aim to change attitudes and behaviors by altering and manipulating information. We can talk here about psychological warfare or information warfare, but whatever name these actions would be, they will be based on the subtle mechanisms of the human brain but also a certain psychological profile of the population of interest.
