Summary/Abstract: The article brings to the attention of specialists a new concept, with major implications for the realm of security - ”cognitive warfare”. This concept brings together, in an intelligent but subtle and ingenious way, all the previous concepts related to confrontation and inscribes them in a supreme logic of thought, updated with the latest achievements of science and technology. Cognitive warfare is aimed not only at strategists, who are designing the latest ways of attack and defense, but also at ordinary people, who should better understand this new form of confrontation, which is currently at the highest level of development, on the one hand and with the longest perspective of application, on the other hand.
