Summary/Abstract: Are the fantastic ontologies that inhabit human narrative imaginaries of one specific sex? We will examine the question of the variable sexuations of supernatural beings in the upland wildness, exploring the folklores of the Alps, the Himalayas and the Atlas Range. Wild beings, both feminine and masculine, intervene in the transmission of dairy and cereal techniques, thus breaking the classical boundary that separates an essentially cultural and anthropized universe from the world of wildness.
