Summary/Abstract: Globalization as a phenomenon of the 21st century influences various areas of human life. It also affects the training of future teachers and the process of their lifelong learning. The globalization has also an impact on family life and relationships generally, on various forms of family organization, partnerships, parents' relationship with children and family activities. One of the issues is represented by the family and school cooperation and family/parent involvement in the school environment. This literature review represents mostly foreign publications and deals with the topic of training of future teachers aimed at the work with the pupil's family. The study is a part of the KEGA research project "Family as a Topic in the System of the Future Teachers Preparation" (Project No. 007 UKF-4/2020).
