Equity crowdfunding as a method of financing investments in the craft brewing industry in Poland

Summary/Abstract: Equity crowdfunding as a modern form of financing is increasingly used by craft breweries around the world, and in recent years also in Poland. The main purpose of the article is to identify the basic features of crowdfunding campaigns carried out by Polish craft breweries in 2016-2020. The research indicates that currently operating breweries carry out such actions in order to finance the most important investments. At the same time, they achieve great success, raising capital from many investors, which may indicate that this form of financing will develop rapidly in the coming years.
