Legal basis and organization of the education system in France, taking into account the influence of the Minister of Education on the activities of public and private schools

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the legal basis and characteristics of the education system of France. The legal status of private educational institutions and how they are financed were discussed. The teacher education system as well as the problems and directions of France’s current education policy were analyzed.
