Summary/Abstract: The dialogue with Constantin Toma, the Mayor of the town of Buzau, and Marius-Adrian Nicoara, doctor of history, has a propaedeutic purpose in this thematic issue of the Dialogica journal, dedicated towards the memory of Alexandru Marghiloman, prime minister of Romania during the period of March – October 1918, which played a decisive role in the realization of Great Romania, through the union of Bessarabia and Bucovina with Romania. Constantin Toma, the Mayor of the town in which Alexandru Marghiloman was born, talks about the actions done by the municipality in order to maintain the memory of Alexandru Marghiloman. The historian Marius-Adrian Nicoara points the main highlights of Alexandru Marghiloman’s biography, supported by important documentary sources.
