Summary/Abstract: This study examined Taiwanese university students’ transition to remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Student participants completed a semi-structured questionnaire about their experience with remote learning in 2021. Questions were formulated with the goal to understand their comfort level in engaging via video conferencing, the effect of the residential environment on learners’ motivation, and the unique challenges faced as they quickly learned to adapt to digital classrooms.
