Summary/Abstract: Street art is an understanding of art that is considered as a type of contemporary arts and produced with different materials. This understanding of art -as is evident from its name- is applied to the streets of a city and classified according to the type of equipment used. Some of these techniques include stencils, chalk, stickers, mosaics or installations. However, graffiti, which is the most widely known and generally applied by spray, and mural applications, where traditional paints are sometimes preferred, are also included in the street arts genre. In addition to the technical diversity in the application, the fact that mural works are revealed in longer times due to their application in large sizes distinguishes it from other visual street arts. This indirectly shows that although graffiti or stencil techniques are applied secretly and quickly, aesthetically centered empathy in the context of artist -work, work-viewer duo or artist-viewer-work triangle will be established more tightly. The city of Bristol in the United Kingdom, one of the important cities where street arts are legal and valued, is one of the rare cities where you can find examples of all the visual techniques mentioned. Despite the presence of all visual techniques in this city, the focus of the research is that murals come to the fore in terms of quality and quantity with some festivals and events. Therefore, in this study, the approach of the city to street arts will be examined by mentioning some of the works applied by artists in Bristol city.
