Summary/Abstract: In the historical context, it is seen that social attitudes and perceptions towards individuals with disabilities are generally negative. However, recently the changes at disability culture and policies have begun to create a positive atmosphere in this regard. The attitudes and behaviors of other individuals in the social system towards the disabled are decisive in the equal, full and independent social participation of disabled individuals. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the attitudes of non-disabled individuals in the society towards the disabled. Especially, it is important to know the attitudes of young people, who constitute a significant part of the population, towards the disabled. In this regard the purpose of this research is to analyze the attitudes of Generation Z, who are studying at Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University, towards individuals with disabilities. The data in this research is obtained from 400 students by using Personal Information Form and the Attitude Scale towards People Affected by Disabilities. The data were analyzed with the SPSS. The scale scores revealed that the attitudes of the Z Generation at the university towards individuals with disabilities are generally positive. It is seen that these attitudes differ according to students’ faculties. However, it was determined that the attitudes did not differ according to the other socio-demographic characteristics of the students. The datas obtained in the research were discussed in the axis of the scientific literature and social model and some suggestions related to this issue were made.
