Summary/Abstract: The educational process is a student’s main activity and engages the student’s entire body. Depending on education level and profile (high school or vocational education), intellectual or physical work will be the prevailing component, although both are usually present. A specific feature of childhood is that the body is in full pshycosomatic development at this stage. Given that development is one of the main elements related to the child’s health (along with adaptability and school performance), it is of great importance (both from a medical and from a psychological point of view) to consider sanitary criteria when planning the student’s daily schedule. Smooth school activity contributes to maintaing the student’s health in all its complexity.
