Summary/Abstract: The contribution is based on the knowledge that the speaker, with his statement realized in a certain communication situation, not only says something but also does something - evaluates, announces, praises, etc. In other words, we follow the communication (illocutionary) functions of statements, by which the speaker expresses his attitude to the propositional content of the sentence and realized his intentions. Based on journalistic texts about housing, the article focuses only on a narrow range of issues - weaker challenges such as the COUNSEL and INSTRUCTIONS. The article also focuses on their formal signaling through grammatical language means and on their functionality in these thematically specified journalistic texts.
