Summary/Abstract: In this study, it is aimed to establish the research competence of future teacher educators based on the project education technology. The research was conducted in the spring semester of 2021–2022. The study with the participation of 328 university students was conducted in a quantitative research model. In the research, a 3-week project training technology and research competence training was provided to university students. In the study, a data collection tool developed by the researchers was used to collect data. The scale used in the study was delivered and collected by the online method of university students. The analysis of the data was carried out using the SPSS programme; frequency analysis was carried out using the t-test; and the results obtained were added to the study accompanied by tables. As a result of the research, it was found that the project training technology and research competence values of the groups of participants participating in the study had high values.
