Summary/Abstract: Purpose – The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between organizational identification, job performance and work engagement within the scope of tourism industury. Design/methodology/approach – Quantitative research methods were used in the research. By using convenience sampling method, an online questionnaire was conducted with 320 participants. The data obtained were analyzed by using SPSS and AMOS programs with the structural equation model. Findings – The results of the research obtained as a result of the analyzes show that organizational identification has a positive and significant effect on job performance and work engagement, and work engagement has a positive and significant effect on job performance. In addition, it has been determined that work engagement has a mediating role in the effect of organizational identification on job performance. Discussion – The results of the current research supports the literature. When the employees feel themselves as an important part of the organization, they may perceive all kinds of situations that the organization encountered on a personal level. The performance of the employees will incerease as a result of the highly perceived organizational identification.
