Summary/Abstract: Ogai Mori was one of the most significant writers of Japanese literature in the Meiji era. This paper is about some elements of his biography, literary work, and career. It lists the Hungarian translations of his works and his literary themes. The Hungarian translation of two of his works are published here: his first romantic story, Maihime (舞姫), and his historical story Takasebune (高瀬舟)
