Summary/Abstract: This study worked on determining the views of undergraduate students on distance learning for art education through factors such as their art major, technology usage skills, age, gender, geographical location, number of classes per day, type of device used during courses, system-related technical difficulties experienced, efficiency of the programs used, and the effect of these factors on the students’ views. This study was conducted in 2020 on 107 students majoring in Painting Education at the Fine Arts Education Department of Gazi University’s Faculty of Education. The researchers adopted a quantitative research method by preparing and implementing a 5-point Likert type questionnaire. The collected data was used to determine that while factors such as gender, age, geographical location, art major, levels of technology usage and number of courses taken per day through distance education did not affect students’ views on distance learning for art education, types of devices used to attend distance education courses, the efficiency of the programs used during courses, facing system-related technical difficulties during courses were factors that did create a difference in students’ views on distance learning for art education. Data collected from the questionnaires showed that the majority of students had a positive stance on distance learning for art education.
