Summary/Abstract: Purpose - Since technology has been started to be used more in working life during COVID-19, the importance of issues about information security has risen in terms of employees in this process. The aim of this research is to measure the effect of information security awareness on job performance in terms of health personnel, and whether or not there is mediator role of information security stress in this effect in COVID-19 pandemic period. Design/methodology/approach - Health personnel of Mardin State Hospital was chosen as the sample group. In this study in which quantitative research method was used, explanatory research technique was used, and survey technique was used to gather data. 34 itemed scale developed by Keser and Güldüren (2015) for information security awareness, 4 itemed scale developed by Kirkman and Rosen (1999) and adapted into Turkish by Çöl (2008) for job performance, 8 itemed scale developed by Ayyagari, Grover & Purvis (2011) for information security stress were used. For data analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were used. Findings - In the research, the findings that information security awareness has positive and significant effect on job performance in health personnel, and there is partial mediator role of information security stress in this effect, were reached.
