THE BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF JOURNAL OF KAFKAS UNIVERSITY ECONOMİCS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES FACULTY

Summary/Abstract: Bibliometric Analysis is a numerical analysis of information generated in a certain field and period or presented by a certain journal within a certain time period. With the bibliometric analysis, which is used as a literature review tool, the development course of the field or publication institution is determined, and the deficiencies are determined. It is also important in terms of guiding future studies and providing access to information. In the study, bibliometric analysis of Kafkas University Journal of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences have been performed. The aim of the study is to recognize, introduce and evaluate Kafkas University Journal of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. With the analysis to be performed for this purpose, all the articles published in the journal have been saved with the a tabulation program; and then the number of articles in the journal, the language of publication, the type of publication, the areas where the studies are predominant, the institutions from which the studies are conducted, the authors with the most studies and the most cited authors have been presented through tables. Thus, the scientific aspect of the journal will be illustrated; its effectiveness, efficiency, and pros and cons will be stated and suggestions for future issues have been made.
