Summary/Abstract: The Caucasus had an important place within the general policy of Russia since the 18th century. Because of the policy which it followed; Russia interrogated Armenians who was one of the autoktan peoples of the Caucasus due to the geography they live in. This geography, in which it is important to undertake the Armenian patronage of the region as well as to dominate the region, was the subject of many interstate disputes due to the policy followed by Russia. From the beginning of the 19th century, Russia, which worked in a large Armenian province in the Caucasus, disturbed greatly the Ottoman Empire with its others. The fact that the Armenians in the region were gathered at a point determined in the Caucasus and some Christians were brought here deteriorated the balances of the human element in the region against the Ottoman State. This situation confronted the Ottoman Empire, Russia and Iran in many respects.
