Summary/Abstract: Traditional and Complementary Medicine (GETAT) research, XXI. started to gain momentum from the beginning of the century. National and international health organizations, especially the World Health Organization (WHO), the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) operating in the United States, and the European Federation of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (EFCAM) are trying to examine GETAT methods, find new drugs and find new drugs. Began to develop treatment methods. The source of GETAT methods is the public. It is the adaptation of the knowledge and experience of the disease and treatment, which the people have acquired through trial and error for centuries, to modern medicine. For this reason, it is extremely important to compile Turkish folk medicine practices, which maintain their vitality in the oral culture environment and continue to be applied today, in terms of finding new drugs and new treatments. In this research, Giresun province, one of the ancient settlements of Turkishness, was chosen as the research area. Traditional treatment methods applied in pediatric diseases are included in Giresun folk medicine practices. The research was conducted using semi-structured interview method, one of the qualitative research data collection techniques. Identified pediatric diseases are classified in 3 groups as rational treatments, irrational treatments and treatments with rational/irrational combinations and shown in the evaluation table. Research; It will contribute to Turkish folk medicine, Giresun cultural inventory and GETAT research.
