Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the jurisprudence of the Maramureș Tribunal and the Cluj Court of Appeal regarding the landfill in Sighetu Marmației, Maramureș County. To that end, in the first part, the article sets out the court rulings on the annulment of administrative acts establishing the location of the landfill. In the second part, the article presents judgments on the suspension and annulment of administrative acts issued to allow the continued storage of waste during the emergency caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
