Bigamy as a threat of globalization in legal and social perspective

Summary/Abstract: The article presents legal regulations in force in the Polish legal system concerning bigamy and legal and social threats resulting from the possibility of committing this crime. It points out the legal and cultural diversity of immigrant communities. The case-studies presented in the article are dis cussed on the basis of the current principles and provisions of criminal law, family law, private inter national law and civil law.
