Summary/Abstract: Any national of a Member State has the right to paid employment and to pursue that activity on the territory of another Member State, like the citizens of that State, without distinction based on nationality of the worker, according to the principle of equal treatment. The free movement of workers includes the right to move to another Member State in order to accept an actual offer of employment and not the right to go to the territory of a Member State for the purpose of seeking employment.
