Summary/Abstract: Today, with the increasing needs, people are in contact with each other more often. This communication takes place through language. Thus, people want to learn a foreign language other than their mother tongue. In language learning stages, structural and socio-cultural contradictions arise due to the fact that the languages in the world belong to different language families. This causes difficulties in understanding and expressing skills during the foreign language learning stage. Comprehension and narration skills; listeningreading-writing-speaking. Students try to acquire these skills in the time allotted to each of them in the foreign language course. It has been observed that 4th grade students studying at Iraq Stirling School in the 2021-2022 academic year have difficulties in speaking skills while learning Turkish as a foreign language. Thereupon, the existence of this problem was embodied by the questionnaire applied to 4 teachers working as Turkish teachers at the school. The aim of this study is to find out what factors affect students' speaking difficulties, to determine the effects of speaking Turkish as a foreign language on students' speaking Turkish, which is related to gender, teacher, classroom environment and more than one language. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to 40 4th grade students. As a result of this survey, it was determined that 67% of the students had difficulties in speaking Turkish.
