Summary/Abstract: Learning has always been a fertile ground for research aiming at facilitating access to information and content sharing, with the view towards knowledge, know-how and self-management skills. To this end, researchers interested in learning have striven to use technological innovation for the benefit of learning. we believe that the D-learning-project, added to the technological and pedagogical components involved, must take into account the guiding principles of Project Management as an unequivocally proven managerial practice. However, it is also possible to explore other niches that can ensure the success of this type of project. Total Quality Management (TQM) as a practice seems to be a managerial practice whose foundations are perfectly compatible with the characteristics of a D-learning project.
