Issues in the prevention of domestic violence

Summary/Abstract: The domestic violence is the “underwater”, latent, and poorly registered part of the violent crime, as by nature it takes place behind locked doors. The statistical data shows a serious spread of this type of violation in the Bulgarian society. Despite that, there is no sufficiently broad public discussion on the problem. In the background remains the activity of prevention of this particular type of crime. This article is dedicated to some issues related to the prevention and control of domestic violence.
