Summary/Abstract: The authors present selected cases of Polish Supreme Court decisions in the area of motor third- party liability insurance. The review can be divided into two sections: 1) the scope of pecuniary damage, especially the costs incurred by the injured party and 2) the contributory negligence of a victim of the event causing the damage.
