Summary/Abstract: In the article, the author considers the concept of individual identification and seeks a new perspective on this concept. The article deals with the probabilistic conclusions of expert research. When evaluating the conclusions of expert forensic technical research, the issue of forensic identification and especially the degree of probabilistic conclusions is often addressed. In the process of proving, the question of the probability of the object or the expression of the probability of the considered versions is also often addressed. Probabilistic expression of object identification is often an inevitable level of knowledge in forensic research.
