Summary/Abstract: This article highlights the principles of developing the body expressiveness of an actor in the system of K. S. Stanislavski, M. Cekhov, V. Meyerhold, A. Tairov. The paper focuses on the development of nonverbal language by acquiring different physical skills proposed by the authors mentioned above and the actor's attention in researching the development of emotional and physical balance that allows him to get rid of musculo-skeletal blockages and react promptly to tasks proposed by director or choreographer. Furthermore, the author proposes the method of A. Droznin as one of the most effective methods of training and developing the body of an actor in dramatic theater, who created a harmonious unity between Stanislavski's system, Meyerhold's biomechanics and Grotowski's physical training.
