Summary/Abstract: COVID-19 has had an overwhelming impact worldwide, not only from the social and economic point of view, but also considering the informational challenges and communication barriers that had to be surpassed. Given the distancing measures taken in order to reduce the risk of spreading the virus, the communication channels of thousands of societies were considerably affected. The present article summarizes some practical solutions that were tested in order to fix the issues brought up by the pandemics in terms of management. The study emphasizes the main difficulties that have needed to be dealt with and the most important benefits that the informational revolution brought along. Moreover, the current paper supports the idea of implementing knowledge management’s principles within the economic and non-economic companies, as it could represent a helpful method of obtaining competitive advantages (achieving a higher rate of efficiency with less input – all the resources involved in the process).
