Mobility Testing Among Children Who Practice Swimming and Athletics in Iași

Summary/Abstract: In this research, a comparative study was performed on the mobility of different joints (shoulder, coxo-femoral and ankle) in children who practice swimming compared to children who practice athletics (running).The subjects of the research come from private athletics and swimming clubs in Iași. The research lasted five months.The premise from which we started in this study is that swimmers have better mobility in the shoulder and ankle and athletes/runners have better mobility in the coxo-femoral joint.The aim of the research is to show that the development of mobility is important in preventing injuries and increasing the capacity for effort.
