Summary/Abstract: This study presents the results of a questionnaire survey of teachers in primary schools. The research focuses on the prevalence, manifestations, and causes of behavioral problems in primary school children, as well as the effects of the problems on teachers and classmates. It also analyses the ways and means of conflict management used by teachers and examines the success of the conflict management methods used in primary schools. Based on research results, the present study draws conclusions about the psychological effects of conflicts and possible causes of career drop-out. The research proved that the present-day emerging primary school conflict situations differ entirely from the situations that emerged a couple of years ago. In this context, it is a brand new challenge and task for teachers and parents to resolve these issues.
