FEATURES OF THE INDIVIDUAL STYLE OF MYKHAILO IVASIUK, THE POET, IN THE ASPECT OF STYLISTIC SYNCRETISM

Summary/Abstract: The work of the famous Bukovynian writer Mykhailo Ivasiuk is associated primarily with epic works. However, the writer began his career in the 30s of the twentieth century from the genre of poetry. Return to poetic creativity in the late 70s of the twentieth century is explained by the tragic death of his son, the talented composer Volodymyr Ivasiuk, in April 1979. The poetic work of the master of the word in literary reception was mainly sporadic. Understanding his poetic heritage under the hood of stylistic trends, in our opinion, determines the relevance of the study. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that for the first time the poetry of Mykhailo Ivasiuk was systematically analyzed in the aspect of stylistic syncretism. Research methods. The main methods are cultural-historical, biographical, and comparative. Conclusions. It is proved that in the poetic heritage of Mykhailo Ivasiuk there are mainly three stylistic elements: neoclassicism, symbolism, impressionism. In our opinion, the poet proceeds from the "high" style of poetry, since studying at the Faculty of Foreign Languages as fertile ground for mastering the best traditions of world literature. Obviously, the French symbolists and Kyiv neoclassicists most influenced the work of the Bukovynian writer. Hence the exquisite manner of the poet in versification, in the intention of allowing the reader to enjoy the filigree poetic images. Based on the author's existence, Mykhailo Ivasiuk's poetry is saturated with a variety of artistic means and techniques that lie in the paradigm of neoclassicism, symbolism and impressionism. The poetic work of Mykhailo Ivasiuk is an organic interweaving of several stylistic trends that contribute to the expansion of the artistic and aesthetic palette of his works.
