Summary/Abstract: In the period 1916–1919 in Bulgarian society emerged proposals for solving the problem of peace in the Continent of Europe and the world on the principle of the establishment of a federation. Most of their theses were well argumented thought out and feasible. Through the project of engineer N. Dimkov and through the activity of the Bulgarian Society for Peace were sought means of a new settling of international relations on the basis of high political morals and universal human values Although in those years their expectations were not justified, later in another political milieu other political figures were to realize ideas similar in principle which proved the correctness and significance of the proposals put forward already during the First World War.
