Summary/Abstract: The aim of this text is to analyse how the law distinguishes between public and private space, considering the physical space. The paper will focus on places that are located on the border between private and public space. Subsequently, it will be evaluated whether such a distinction is useful at a time when people are almost constantly under the scrutiny of modern technologies . With their use, the question of conflict with the right to privacy and the protection of personal data inevitably arises.
