Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the EU legislation on the provision of digital content and digital services in Directive (EU) 2019/770 of the European Parliament and of the Council and the legislation on contracts for the sale of goods with digital elements under Directive (EU) 2019/771 of the European Parliament and Council. It contains a description and analysis of the proposed transposition of these EU standards into the Czech legal system, including problematic issues and the impact on the current concept of contracts and things in Czech civil law.
