Summary/Abstract: The analysis of tendencies in transformation of Slovak onymia after the year 1989 resulted into profiling the field of onymia’s tendencies – pluralization – globalization – nationalisation – internationalisation, which in cooperation influenced the changes in Slovak onymia after the year 1989.
