WEDDING CUSTOMS AT SERBIANS LIVING IN MUREŞ RIVER MEADOW

Summary/Abstract: This work is conceived according to the information that I collected from the local knowledge, more exactly in the villages of Satu Mare (Nacifala) and Mănăștur, in Arad County, where there used to be a very strong Serbian community in ancient times. I have tried to identify the common elements, as well as the specific ones, connected to wedding customs in this part of the country, the variety and the denomination of dances and songs.
