Summary/Abstract: Sentiment of Slovinstvo in old Dubrovnik`s culture was expressed by its elite representatives in several periods of The Republic of Ragusa`s literature. 19th century Dubrovnik has brought new understanding of Slovinstvo shown by authors in journal Slovinac as well as in works of Serbs Catholics of this time, especially Matija Ban`s and dum Ivan Stojanovic`s. This paper had concluded by analyzing the works of already mentioned writers that the new age in Dubrovnik had brought a narrowing of the concept of Slovinstvo and its assimilation with Serbdom.
