THE NEW ETHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH OF SERBS IN ROMANIA

INTRODUCTORY APPROACH AND PERSPECTIVES

Summary/Abstract: In the article, general framework of problems of ethnological study of Serbs in Banat, Romania is preliminary summarized, with an emphasis on the singling out of priority themes and reasons necessity of a comprehensive implementation of these researches. In addition to the typical, illustrative examples, the fundamental research guidelines are also presented; the guidelines arising from an insight into the comprehensive context of contemporary ethnological and multidisciplinary study of the Serbs in the above-mentioned territory. The special importance is given to the facts, issues and problems that have been neglected during the previous period.
