Summary/Abstract: The first Romanian-Serbian dictionary appeared in Timisoara in 1935., in the printing of Leopold Wieder. It was compiled by Archpriest Milan Nikolic, a priest from the village Gelu, for the purposes of private high school that he has led in the same place. It was an amateur work that satisfied the needs of that time period, and marked the beginning of the Serbian-Romanian lexicography. The author wanted to draw the attention of experts upon this event that took place 80 years ago.
