Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the expression of possessivity by means of the pronouns koji and čiji in relative clauses, establishing the use of čiji as commoner. This pronoun is postnominal in modem texts, which groups Croatian among the Slavic languages that have not preserved the ancient word order with the personal pronoun preceding the noun (Macedonian, Bulgarian, Russian, Ukrainian and Belorussian).
