Summary/Abstract: The article discusses some pieces of embroidery and brocades from the patrimony of Putna Monastery. The author analyses the style and technique characteristics of the discussed embroideries and proposes a classification. The relatively high resemblance suggests the pieces belong to the same school, which evolved in time. Identifying a style could lead to identifying pieces from other territories in the future, made at the same time with those of Putna Monastery.
