Summary/Abstract: Geo-biology is a multidisciplinary field that studies the biological system consisting of the relationship man-built and natural space, offering architects solutions having as object the proper functioning of this system. Because architects control a large part of the elements of this system through the decisions taken within the framework of the design process, there can be observed a tendency to include ever more components of geobiology within the architecture education. Theoretical and practical information in this field is helpful to architects, urban planners, interior design architects, monuments restorers and landscape designers.
